THE Shereese Francis Act
On March 15, 2012, Shereese Francis was suffocated and murdered by four NYPD officers in her own family home in Queens, New York. She was diagnosed with schizophrenia while studying at Nassau Community College, but was able to control it through medication and worked hard in school. Her family members knew her to be a happy and caring woman who aspired to become a physical therapist. She had been attending college for a few years now and was known for working hard. Prior to the evening of March 15, 2012, Francis discontinued her regular use of medications. She was having a bad mental episode as a result of not having the medication and had become uncooperative to her family. Her sister called 311 with hopes of an ambulance to take Francis to a hospital, but Shauna was transferred to 911 operators. Soon, four NYPD officers arrived at the Francis family home. At the sight of the officers arrival, Shereese felt a threat to her safety. She began pleading for them to leave. She fled to the basement. The officers cornered her in a bedroom in the basement. All four officers then tackled Francis down on a bed, piling their weight on her back. As they held her face down onto the mattress, they handcuff her. Shereeses mom stated she witnessed her daughter struggling to breathe before she eventually went into cardiac arrest. Within 20 minutes of the officers arriving, Francis was no longer breathing.

Sunshine is qualified through experiences, and education. Obtaining her certification in FAMILY ENGAGEMENT in Education from Harvard University gives her the tools needed to connect family, schools, community and youth through her partnering mentorship programs. Sunshine is also a Public speaker at Harvard University. Her topics are politics and financial literacy.
YOUTH ADVOCATE
Youth advocacy is my most valuable contribution to the world. It is important to instill principles into the impressionable minds of today's children. I draw my greatest inspiration from the youth. They are our hope for the future.

As a Youth Advocate we take family engagement in education seriously. Our mentorship, workshops and curriculums are apart of PIVOT PROGRAMS.

W&W Academy has been committed to helping people regain control of their finances, build wealth, & enhance lives through financial literacy since 2020.
Our financial workshops and programs were created in 2017 for housing residents who occupied the founder's homeless facilities. Wine and Wealth Academy, where we empower our communities through Education of financial literacy.

(I.I.U) is a community organization founded in 2015 by Mr. and Mrs.Williams.
I.I.U provide at-risk youth alternative routes to steer them from violence, crime and drugs by teaching them skill sets for entrepreneurial & personal development.
I.I.U also empower communities through teaching financial literacy.
