Sunshine Smith-Williams graduated from college having majored in legal studies and minored in writing . Legal studies was Smith-Williams first passion and diligently she was gainfully employed from several law offices as a paralegal from 2003- 2010. Sunshine Smith-Williams born September 28, 1979 is a Serial entrepreneur, philanthropist, youth mentor, motivational speaker, film producer and Author. Smith-Williams was Raised in Jamaica Queens, New York by a single mother, who struggled to make ends meet. Growing up in multiple impoverished housing projects with dim hope, Smith-Williams utilized education as a weapon to overcome poverty, and obtained several degrees and certifications, climbing the corporate ladder to achieve success. After being laid off from her dream job in 2010, Smith-Williams gained the faith to start her own consultant firm "Sunny Legal Realty LLC". Through an intense journey she discovered and dethroned her flaws and increased her self-esteem. As a result she successfully opened several thriving businesses and mentored others to do the same. Making decisions was sometimes difficult for the entrepreneur. Growing up in housing projects she held on to her relationships with friends of her past. She is a walking testament that despite making poor choices you can recover from it. She realized her past experience was Gods way of using her as a vessel to help the youth and others like herself who have made poor choices. Sunshine is also the C.E.O of "Shared Living Residential LLC" alongside her spouse. "Shared Living Residential LLC" is a chain of homeless facilities throughout New York City that help formerly incarcerated women and men with their re entry back into society, financial literacy, housing, legal referrals, online schooling, and health care. In 2015 Smith-Williams embraced her minor from college seriously and wrote her first published self help book and became a best selling author. In 2016 She created "Wine & Wealth" workshops and financial book series to teach financial literacy to the community. Each book from the series covers Entrepreneurship, Investing, how Credit works, Financial Securities such as Wills & Estate, Health Proxy, to starting your own Trust.

Inspired by writing she aspired to produce films. In 2017 Smith-Williams launched "Sunny Side-Up Productions & Films".

Smith-Williams continues to break the glass ceiling by furthering her education, generating innovative ideas and executing them to forfil her purpose. In July 0f 2020 Smith-Williams received her certification in Education from Harvard University.

Currently, the serial entrepreneur resides in the water suburb of long island, New York with her husband/business partner and their son.

THE Shereese Francis Act

On March 15, 2012, Shereese Francis was suffocated and murdered by four NYPD officers in her own family home in Queens, New York. She was diagnosed with schizophrenia while studying at Nassau Community College, but was able to control it through medication and worked hard in school. Her family members knew her to be a happy and caring woman who aspired to become a physical therapist. She had been attending college for a few years now and was known for working hard. Prior to the evening of March 15, 2012, Francis discontinued her regular use of medications. She was having a bad mental episode as a result of not having the medication and had become uncooperative to her family. Her sister called 311 with hopes of an ambulance to take Francis to a hospital, but Shauna was transferred to 911 operators. Soon, four NYPD officers arrived at the Francis family home. At the sight of the officers arrival, Shereese felt a threat to her safety. She began pleading for them to leave. She fled to the basement. The officers cornered her in a bedroom in the basement. All four officers then tackled Francis down on a bed, piling their weight on her back. As they held her face down onto the mattress, they handcuff her. Shereeses mom stated she witnessed her daughter struggling to breathe before she eventually went into cardiac arrest. Within 20 minutes of the officers arriving, Francis was no longer breathing.

Obtaining her certification in FAMILY ENGAGEMENT in Education from Harvard University gives her the tools needed to connect family, schools, community and youth through her partnering mentorship programs. Sunshine is also a Public speaker at Harvard University. Her topics are politics and financial literacy.

Youth advocacy is my most valuable contribution to the world. It is important to instill principles into the impressionable minds of today's children. I draw my greatest inspiration from the youth. They are our hope for the future.

W&W Academy has been committed to helping people regain control of their finances, build wealth, & enhance lives through financial literacy since 2020.

Our financial workshops and programs were created in 2017 for housing residents who occupied the founder's homeless facilities. Wine and Wealth Academy, where we empower our communities through Education of financial literacy.
